Do for yourself. And do it better.

My grandmother taught my father, "If you can do it yourself, do it and do it better." And that's just what he did. So I grew up in a house with a father who did everything and excelled at it all. This eventually rubbed off on me. So here I am today, 30 and a happy lil' Susie Homemaker. I'm not as enthusiastic as my father on do-it-yourself projects, however I'm finding as I get older the more and more I enjoy doing it better. To top it off I'm obsessed with vintage, I favor the 1940s, 50s and 60s.

I've decided that I do enough that people want to know about that I could start to blog them. Also to share my vintage world with others who have as much love for it as I do.
